Today our school organized and celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great pride and joy. The whole school campus was decorated with balloons and tricolour garland. It looked very beautiful and festive. Our Chief Guests were invited and they were escorted to the venue by the Colour Party of the Scout team.
Then after the Flag Hoisting was done, followed by everyone singing the National Anthem with great respect. After that, the Scout Team did their March Past. The Chief Guests were felicitated by Ritu Ma’am and Tuli Ma’am. Then we had speeches by our Principal Ma’am and by Priya Boroo of Class IX.
Later, everyone moved to Block A of our school campus to enjoy the cultural event. There were beautiful performances – one Group Song and one Group Dance – which everyone loved. At the end, Chief Guest Mr. Biswajit Pathak gave a speech and addressed everyone.
With that, the program came to an end. Finally, chocolates as well as sweets were distributed among the students.
It was a memorable day and a very proud moment for everyone.
